Rep. Susie Lee unloaded on President Trump in a profanity-laced social media post ahead of Wednesday’s Supreme Court arguments on birthright citizenship, then quickly deleted it after it was screenshotted and spread online.
“So f——-g f——d up. I’ll pray they f—- him to his face. Sorry, I say f—- a lot these days,” Lee wrote in a reply to a post about Trump planning to attend the hearing.
The since-deleted post was captured by Semafor congressional reporter Nicholas Wu and drew swift blowback in the comments, with critics blasting the Nevada Democrat’s language.
Lee, who bills herself on X as “America’s #1 Most Bipartisan Member of Congress,” posted the comment at about 1:03 a.m. and later removed it.
Trump arrived at the Supreme Court on Wednesday to watch oral arguments over his executive order aimed at ending automatic birthright citizenship for most children born in the U.S. to illegal immigrants and to parents in the country on temporary visas. The policy is a cornerstone of the administration’s immigration crackdown and challenges the long-standing interpretation of the 14th Amendment’s citizenship clause.
In a now deleted post, Rep. Susie Lee (D-NV) said of President Trump going to SCOTUS this morning:

Because there is no record of a sitting president attending Supreme Court oral arguments, Trump’s critics warned that his presence amounted to an attempt to pressure or intimidate the justices.

Lee has said the immigration system is “broken” and has positioned herself as a supporter of bipartisan border and immigration legislation. She has also pushed for an approach she describes as “fast, fair, and final for anyone seeking a better life and to contribute to our economy.”
In 2024, Lee crafted a framework that included a pathway to citizenship, while accusing “far-right leadership” of continuing to “use our immigration system as a political football.”
The Washington Times reported it has reached out to Lee’s office and the White House for comment.
